Hello and welcome to Sand Point United Methodist Church’s Online Children’s Ministry.  Here at Sand Point, we offer a variety of programs and activities for our children and young families.  First among these is weekly Sunday School which meets during the service (children are excused from the service to their classes after children’s time).  Another highlight is our annual Vacation Bible Camp which takes place during the summer.  We also offer fun activities like Family Game Nights, Family retreats, Video Game days, trips to the Zoo, Pump It Up and Sky High.

On behalf of Sand Point UMC, we’d like to invite you to worship with us for a month of Sundays and see if this might be the right community for you and your family.  See you on Sunday!

 Our Children's Safety Policy

The safety of all members and visitors to Sand Point UMC is an absolute priority.  This is particularly so when it comes to our Youth and Children's ministry.  We here at Sand Point UMC are making every effort to ensure that the children and young people under our care experience a positive and nurturing environment. We make sure that every leader has been background checked and through a training. Our official Safety Policy is available upon request from our church office.

Getting Connected: Come Join the Party!
If you are looking for a church then we invite you to come and check out Sand Point UMC.  We are constantly building and expanding our program offerings and we are always looking for folks who can come be part of this fun and exciting time in the life of our church.  Our worship services are Sunday mornings at 10AM.  Nursery care is provided downstairs (follow the signs).  Your children are invited to participate in our Sunday School program which begins after children's time each service or they are welcome to join you in the sanctuary.  There are also children's activities and crayons on the front bench in the narthex/foyer as you enter the church.  We would also invite you to leave your contact info in our guest book so that we can send you more info about our church.  Finally, we would especially encourage you to join us for coffee and sn
acks after the service in Perry Hall (the large room you can find by exiting the sanctuary from the front-left door).  We'd love to get to know you!

If you are interested in volunteering with Sand Point UMC's Youth and Children's Ministries, then check out our available opportunities on our Volunteer Opportunities Page.

Our goal here at Sand Point is to demonstrate the love of God to our children and help them to grow in their Christian faith from their very first years.  We do this by creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where every child can learn and have their gifts celebrated.  Ours is a family-centered ministry which recognizes the value and necessity of parental involvement in the faith formation of our children.
